Aram J. Parnagian, an Introduction

I have been helping Medicare beneficiaries maximize their benefits for 3 years, and during that time, in my interactions with thousands of Medicare beneficiaries, I have come many types of people with different combinations of variables that affect their insurance. After graduating from The State University at Buffalo, I started working for Humana, the largest Medicare Advantage provider in the country. Humana is known for its rigorous 3 week training program where associates are flown to Nashville, TN where Humana is headquartered, to become Medicare subject matter experts.

During my time at Humana, I entered the homes of hundreds of Medicare beneficiaries across New York State—from Western NY, to the Southern Tier, to Syracuse and Rochester, the Capital Region, down to Long Island and the five boroughs of NYC. During the pandemic, Humana transitioned us to telesales, where I listened to the problems and concerns of hundreds of callers, helping them select health plans, or solving their customer service issues. At Humana, I compiled a book of business of over 300 members, whose policies I serviced and managed. It was an honor to know all of my members personally, and be there for them if they ever had any questions or problems with their insurance. However during my time at Humana, I was only able to represent plans from one company, and that is why I started AJ Medicare Benefits, and became an insurance broker.

After founding AJ Medicare Benefits in September of 2023, I have since grown my book of business to over 400 members. Not only can I provide customer service for these members throughout the year, but I can also recommend adjustments to them to change their plan if their needs or the benefits of the plan itself change. The Medicare business make beneficiaries confused and anxious, and it is my pleasure to provide honest advise and continued support to all of my members.

In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, riding my bike, and watching sports. Go Bills!
